Pre-shipment credit

  • Provided to support businesses with appropriate access to finance at the manufacturing stage for the purchase of raw materials and other inputs; also available for the purchase of raw materials/inputs for export
  • Short-term, bridge loan, import finance, and warehouse financing


Post-shipment credit

  • Aims to bridge the gap between production costs and export sales receipts, allowing a business to accelerate cash flow and shorten operating cycles
  • Export receivables finance, buyer credit, and bills discounting


Contingent liabilities

  • Usually carry an undertaking on the part of the bank that if the customer defaults on the underlying transaction, the beneficiary will be refunded or compensated by the bank to the extent of its undertaking upon the presentation of pre-determined documents
  • Supplier credit guarantee, L/C, and loan guarantee


Export development finance

  • Aims to provide medium- and long-term finance to exporters for setting up new export projects, revitalization, acquisition, and expansion of farms/plantations for the production and processing of exportable goods, and acquisition of machinery, spare parts, and packaging materials for the manufacture of exportable goods
