Export Insurance

• Provides insurance to Uzbek exporters against non-payment by foreign buyers on goods and services exported on credit

• Eligibility: Insurance may be provided for benefit of either fixed- or floating-rate loans

• Contract repudiation insurance (political risk insurance)

• Sub-products of export insurance:
  - Supplier’s credit
  - Non-honoring L/C
  - Advance payment
  - Domestic credit 

• Risk covered: Commercial and political risk
• Fees:
  - No processing or application fee is charged
  - Premium is paid upfront
  - Premium is charged on total exposure
