Innergex Renewable Energy (INE) has raised C$209 million ($164 million) from a bought deal equity offering and a private placement to fund its acquisition of the 332MW Aela renewables portfolio in Chile from Actis and Mainstream Renewable Power. Innergex sold an aggregate of 9.7 million common shares to a syndicate of underwriters including CIBC Capital Markets, National Bank Financial Inc, BMO Capital Markets and TD Securities Inc.
