Phoenix Tower WOM Chile Acquisition Finance
Description
PTI was founded in 2013 and has become the fastest growing tower company in the Western hemisphere. It currently operates over 20k tower sites spread across 19 countries in the Americas and Europe. The perimeter of the transaction however is limited to the Americas (Latin America & Caribbean and the US), where PTI operates over 12k tower sites spread across 14 countries.The transaction covered: Combining, refinancing, and upsizing of Phoenix Tower International’s credit facilities in Latin America & Caribbean and the US. Part of the Term Loan (“TL”) will be used to finance the first phase of the acquisition of WOM’s towers in Chile (as recently announced by PTI), while the Delayed-Draw Term Loan (“DDTL”) will be used to fund future capex deployment and acquisitions in the region.
